Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) is a new program for self-directed home and community-based services in Minnesota, designed to provide support to those who wish to remain in their communities but need help with day-to-day activities.

Once federally approved, CFSS will replace personal care assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant (CSG) services. The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) anticipates PCA and CSG to transition to CFSS in 2023.

To help prepare for the transition to CFSS, DHS created several helpful resources. To access these resources, please visit the DHS website.

Please note, DHS may update these resources. We encourage you to check back regularly for the latest information.
