Don’t forget! Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) starts Thursday, June 30. EVV is an electronic system used to record when a caregiver starts and stops a caregiving shift. Please review the Department of Human Services’ EVV flyer for a recent updated regarding the EVV launch.
EVV replaces paper time sheets for personal care services through the following programs:
- Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS)
- Consumer Support Grant (CSG)
You will soon receive a welcome email from HHAeXchange. This email grants you access to FMS One. FMS One provides easy and secure access to the Evvie mobile app and Evvie portal using a single log in.
The two approved ways to submit an EVV shift are with Evvie and Telephonic Visit Verification (TVV).
Evvie Mobile App and Evvie Portal
After finishing set up for an FMS One account, caregivers should download the Evvie mobile app. The Evvie mobile app is available in the App Store for Apple users and the Google Play Store for Android users. Detailed instructions are available on our EVV Training Materials page.
Only caregivers use the Evvie mobile app. Participants and representatives use the Evvie portal. After finishing set up for an FMS One account, participants and representatives should confirm they have access to the Evvie portal. This is where they will approve caregiving shifts.
Telephonic Visit Verification (TVV)
TVV is sometimes used instead of Evvie. With TVV, caregivers can start and end a shift with a phone call. Detailed instructions are available on our EVV Training Materials page. We will provide the TVV phone number soon.
For more information about EVV, please review the Department of Human Services’ EVV flyer or visit our EVV Resources page. Check back frequently as we will be updating this page often.
