Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Training Materials Image

Starting June 30, 2022, caregivers must use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for each shift. EVV replaces paper time sheets and time submissions on the web portal, CDCNPortal.com.

EVV is federally mandated by the 21st Century Cures Act for home and community-based services. The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) must comply with this mandate.

Note: If you are a live-in caregiver, please stay tuned for EVV guidance. Complete details are coming soon.

The Department of Human Services (DHS) selected HHAeXchange to provide the EVV system for Minnesota. Watch your inbox for a welcome email from HHAeXchange. This email grants you access to the EVV system.

To help you prepare for EVV, HHAeXchange developed training materials. Below are helpful videos and guides. These materials are also posted on our EVV Training Materials page of our website.
