Today Consumer Direct Care Network Minnesota attended Disability Advocacy Day at the Minnesota State Capitol.
Disability Advocacy Day supports the belief that all Minnesotans with disabilities must have equity and belonging in their community.
The event included poster making, advocacy training, and a march and roll to rally at the Capitol Rotunda. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet with legislators and share their stories to raise awareness about issues that impact their community.
